About Irka

Irka was born from my love of design, creativity, culture, history, and the deeper meanings woven throughout life.

As a designer, I draw inspiration from many sources—nature, art, architecture, culture, history, colour, spirituality, teachings, symbolism, and the beauty found in everyday moments. I am fascinated by the connections between past and present, identity and expression, form and meaning, and these influences often shape the stories behind my work.

Every collection begins with exploration and Inspiration from cultural, historical narratives, ancient wisdom, symbolic systems, patterns of the universe, architectural details, or a moment of reflection. Each garment becomes a unique expression of that process.

I founded Irka to create pieces that combine eccentric, individuality, and artistry. Every garment is thoughtfully designed and carefully handcrafted, with attention given to silhouette, movement, texture, and detail. 

Rather than following fleeting trends, I embrace a slower and more intentional approach to fashion. I believe the pieces we wear should resonate with who we are, honour the stories and perceptions that inspire us, and reflect a sense of purpose beyond the surface.

For me, fashion is more than clothing—it is a form of creative expression, storytelling, and connection. Through Irka, I bring together my love of design, craftsmanship, culture, history, spirituality, and symbolism to create garments that feel distinctive, timeless, and personal.
